*Please note that our prices have increased due to recent upgrades in our campgrounds, including a new filtration system for portable water, compliant gas and hot water facilities, and various other improvements. We now align with local competitors, and our limited spots ensure a peaceful and tranquil camping experience with plenty of space for everyone.*

Guests are free to choose their own camping spot within the designated campgrounds. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Riverbend, Greystone, Northwood campgrounds overlooks the river and is located just a short walk away, approximately 100 meters.

Cattle Country, Plateau, Casuarina Campgrounds are set back within nature, walking distance to river.

Rapids campground is camping on the river, however you need a 4WD and is suited to rooftop tents, tents & swags.

Unfortunately, motorbikes are not permitted under our standard camping rules.

Exceptions

We may allow motorbikes only when the entire campground is booked for private use.

If you’re planning an exclusive hire, please get in touch with us directly—let us know your desired dates and the number of bikes.

Yes! Well-behaved, sociable dogs are welcome on our working cattle farm, with a few important guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety:

Leash requirement

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while on the property.

Supervision

Wildlife (including wild dogs) frequents the area. You’re responsible for supervising your pet at all times to prevent any incidents.

Off-lead privileges

Off-lead play is only permitted for dogs that:

  • Have an exceptional recall
  • Remain calm and non-aggressive around livestock and other guests
  • Are continuously watched by their owner

Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the campground without refund. Thank you for helping us keep both our guests and animals safe!

Quiet generators are permitted between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM. If you need to use a generator overnight, please contact management. We will assist in finding a suitable campsite away from other campers to ensure everyone can enjoy a peaceful environment.

Camping & Powered Sites Check-In: from 12:00 PM, Check-Out: by 11:00 AM

Tiny Homes Check-In: from 2:00 PM, Check-Out: by 10:00 AM

Yes. You’re welcome to bring your horse provided that:

  • You carry your own public liability insurance covering horse riding and submit proof of coverage prior to booking.
  • You supply a portable electric fence to contain your horse safely.

Firearms, archery gear, motorbikes, buggies, and quads are not permitted. (You may hear farm machinery or bikes elsewhere on the property. )

• Please do not spin tires or damage the campground surfaces.  We have designated areas for those activities.

• Farm tracks are available for 4WD use at your own risk.

• After rain, tracks can become treacherous - please avoid mountain trails when wet.

•NSW road rules apply everywhere on the property; 10km/h speed limits are strictly enforced in locations around the property.   Please take care driving past other guests camping areas.

  • Campgrounds and most of the property do NOT have mobile reception.
  • Mobile Signal: Head to the top of the hill near the On The Clarence Camping Welcome sign/4G Camera!
  • Sporadic mobile reception can be located around the property.
  • If you travel with Starlink, it works exceptionally well on our property.
  • Emergencies & Free Starlink Wi-Fi: Available at the homestead toilet block (codes are on the front).
  • Premium Wi-Fi Hire (Northwood Campgrounds): Dedicated Starlink access is available to hire for $20/day per group.  Coverage includes from the Solar System, Communal area, behind Tiny Homes, the river in front of the Tiny Homes and some of Greystone Campgrounds.  User Limits apply.

To respect all guests and our natural surroundings, quiet hours are in effect daily from 10:30pm to 8.00am.

  • No loud music: Amplified music is not permitted during quiet hours.
  • Generators off: All generators must be switched off by 8:30 PM.
  • Respect your neighbors: Keep voices low and minimize vehicle movement.
  • Zero Tolerance: We want everyone to have a great time, but party groups who disrupt the peace of the campground will be asked to turn the noise down, or ultimately asked to leave.
  • Late Night/Party Groups: If you plan to stay up late and play music, let us know! We have designated areas located far from the main campsites specifically for louder groups. Please see management to secure one of these suitable spots so everyone can enjoy their ideal camping experience.

 

Our secluded campsites perfectly suited for keeping the tunes going at a sensible level, such as the Rapids, Plateau, Fingers, Casuarina, Emu Creek Paddock, or the far end of Cattle Country.

A 4WD is not required to access the campground. However, if you plan to explore the property beyond the campground, a 4WD will be necessary.

Yes, there are designated fire pits available across the campground, or you may bring your own.

Firewood Options Campers can choose from the following firewood options:

  1. Collect firewood from the property grounds.
  2. Purchase firewood conveniently available in wheelbarrows on the property.
  3. Bring Your Own (BYO) firewood if preferred.


Important Restriction
Please remember, cutting down trees on the property is strictly prohibited.

Never burn glass bottles or cans, they can injure livestock.

This policy ensures the preservation of the 1300-acre cattle property’s natural environment while allowing guests to enjoy the charm and warmth of campfires during their stay.

Swimming in the Clarence River is at your own discretion. While the river can appear calm and serene in some photos, it is important to note that conditions can vary greatly. At times, the river may be unsafe to enter due to factors such as flooding, submerged rocks, or low water levels, all of which are influenced by weather conditions.

Please consider this variability when planning your visit.

Yes, we have four (4) flushing toilet and two (2) shower blocks located near the campgrounds, both with wheelchair access. Additionally, there is a dump point conveniently located next to these facilities.

Yes,  we have safe, drinkable water available on the property.
 
Our water collection tanks are equipped with advanced filtration systems expertly completed by Pristine Water Systems that thoroughly treat and purify the water, removing contaminants and harmful bacteria. This ensures the water is safe for both drinking and cooking, so you can enjoy a clean and worry-free stay.
 
For caravans/travelling trailers, we kindly ask that you arrive with full water tanks onboard. While we do have portable water available, it is limited due to our rural location. This helps ensure all guests are able to access and enjoy the available water during their stay.

Yes — there is one Electric Vehicle charging station at Tabulam Sports Ground (39 Clarence St, Tabulam NSW 2469), maintained by Exploren. (15mins drive)

• Pack it in. Pack it out.
• Please carry all trash (food scraps, packaging, etc.) with you when you leave.
• Use sealable bags or containers to prevent wildlife encounters.

We operate a Leave No Trace policy. Please take all rubbish with you, as there is no on-site trash collection or nearby dump facility.

What’s Included

  • Access to the Entire Property. Roam our scenic bush tracks by 4WD or on foot.
  • Picnic & Day-Use Areas. Open paddocks and riverside spots ideal for pack-up lunches.
  • No setting up day use in the Main Campgrounds.
  • Swimming. Riverbank entry points—perfect for kids and adults.
  • Fishing. Try your luck from shore or your own small boat/kayak.
  • Toilets & Hot Showers. Clean, well-maintained facilities available throughout the day.
  • Stay Hours: 10am to 4pm

Price Information - Day Visitor Pass

There is a dump station conveniently located next to these facilities.

Our septic system only accepts toilet paper and natural waste; please do not flush feminine hygiene products or other items.

You should not put non-biodegradable items, harmful chemicals, fats, oils, or large amounts of sanitary products into our caravan dump station. These items can clog the system, kill beneficial bacteria, and cause blockages or damage.

We’re capable of handling large-scale setups; however, wet weather may limit this ability. An off-road hitch is recommended for any large setups. Engaging low range is recommended for both entry and exit. "Low & Slow"

Fishing is welcomed, obey NSW fisheries.
