The atmosphere is quiet, slow, and restorative. There's a strong sense of space, fresh air, and stillness—ideal for unwinding! The river is inviting, ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding, birdwatching, photography, and riverside picnics. The calm water and gentle surroundings is very tranquil. The sites are large and spaced out! Wood is available for a fire-pit at night and the grass is well kept. The toilets and showers are well equipped and spacious with hand wash and toilet paper.

Plenty of space and great view of river and surrounding hills. Toilets and showers were clean and spacious. Ben was a nice guy and a great host. Looking forward to making the trek back down again from Brisbane.

Really well maintained spaces and facilities. The new showers and drinking water, top notch. Lots of activities to do including kayaking. Hosts are really awesome. Appreciate there is cows on the property, but they nice majestic beasts. Highly recommend.

We had a great week On the Clarence. Bathrooms done right 👌 best toilet facilities we've seen. Lovely, spaced out camps. Not crowded - capped at 30 campers total. Beautiful bird song of a morning. The most friendly, doe-eyed cows, totally cool to munch grass right around our camp.

Good kayaking and fishing on the river.

Hosts were very friendly and with a large number of sites to choose from. Shower and toilet facilities were also great. The river itself is picturesque and kid friendly if you are with them with lots to explore.

We loved staying at On The Clarence. So beautiful and peaceful and the river was beautiful. Great hosts.
